April 2003

Passage

Your life was spent in caring, loving service to others.

Such a life is dear and dearly missed at its close.

But what freedom – what release! – you have earned.

We remember the countless ways you cared and gave.

We look back upon a rich tapestry,

Your life interwoven with our own.

A life lived as an example.

As a shooting star too swiftly past

gives light and beauty in its wake,

So we miss your light, your spark and your drive,

But cannot begrudge your rest.

All our love …
