From the
“Animals Divine” Tarot
My last
reading suggested that from a place of balance, justice and decision-making
comes a search for harmony in relationships, leading to a caution against
pride, dissatisfaction and impatience.
My dad’s birthday was a great day. I
got to meet my sister’s new guyfriend, who seemed to be a good guy, and hang
out with some relatives I don’t see all that often. I took a number of photos
which I’ve loaded to my Facebook page and have not yet loaded to this site,
which seems more and more to be an afterthought. I like the idea of getting
back into this journaling and hope to do more of it, but more and more of my
life is on that site.
This one is due for a major overhaul.
But I’m in no way ready to scrap it. On one level, I’ve got a lot more control
over the look and operation of this site than I do at Facebook, and I’m still
approaching this site as a showcase of my work, which I think does have some
value. Ultimately, they both have their functions and their own unique
intrinsic values.
Yesterday was a good one. I got to
work later than I wanted to but I had every dish in the place washed. I got
some photos and video taken, I got some pages built, stories assigned and
things organized, cleaned out my inbox and when I got home, I had a very nice
longish walk. Fall is absolutely in the air and it’s my favorite time of year for
walking outdoors.
As for today’s reading, from
compassion, imagination and empathy in the Page of Cups comes a caution against
a vain squandering of resources in the inverted Page of Pentacles, leading to a
state of wholeness, self-awareness and oneness with all living things in the
World card.
That all combines to sound terribly
encouraging. Wonderful days, everyone! ![]()
